Last week, six members of our electrical team swapped tools for trowels as they joined Bristol City Council’s One Tree Per Child programme for a day of environmental volunteering at Court Farm Road Open Space.

Working alongside members of the Bristol City Council team, colleagues spent the day helping to enhance and maintain the local green space through a range of conservation activities. Tasks included planting new trees, cutting back overgrown vegetation, pruning existing trees and carrying out general woodland maintenance to support the long-term health of the site.

The volunteering day forms part of PH Jones’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and delivering positive social value alongside the services we provide. The day also provided a fantastic opportunity for colleagues and client representatives to work together outside of their usual roles, strengthening relationships while making a tangible difference to the local area.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success. Their efforts will leave a lasting impact, helping to create a greener Bristol, one tree at a time.
