Providing electrical installation services to social housing
Our specialist electrical installation services team has a combined 30 years of experience and we are recognised as outstanding electrical installation contractors for the quality of our service delivery.
All our electrical installation engineers are accredited to industry standards and all work complies with IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition (BS 7671).
We aim to provide integrated services to our clients and work is undertaken individually or as a package.
We undertake a range of projects, ranging from small jobs, such as installing a distribution board, to larger jobs like rewiring a complete housing estate. We provide consultation and advice on design, installation, and testing on both new build and refurbished buildings.
We also offer an exclusive Voltage Optimisation service for social housing providers.
Voltage optimisation is a unit that optimises the voltage delivered into the household. Electricity typically comes into your home at a voltage of 245V. Many appliances have been designed to work at lower voltages and in some cases performance may even be improved as well as extending the appliance lifetime. The device reduces the voltage and maintains it at 220V, saving you energy and money, without affecting appliance performance.
Social housing trials demonstrated an electrical energy saving of up to 8.9%. The device reduces the carbon emissions of a home by up to 4.5 tonnes CO2 over its lifetime. Voltage Optimisation is helping to improve the energy efficiency of the UK housing stock – all without having to change consumer behaviour.
Units are easily fitted by a PH Jones electrician and with no moving parts, the units really are a ‘fit and forget’ solution.
