Working with the L6 Centre in Liverpool we delivered 178 hours of volunteering in August! The hours and materials, worth over £1000, were donated to decorate several rooms in the community centre, which is at the heart of our contract with Onward Homes, offering support to every aspect of the community.
Shirley Marshall (Head of Operations & Finance) at the L6 centre said: ‘‘All associated with L6 Centre who have seen the finished results in our main hall, children’s games room and uniform shop are absolutely amazed at the transformation. I would like to add that the whole team that came along throughout the week were tremendous, courteous, very hardworking and all went above and beyond to support us here at the L6 Centre. The conditions the team worked in were certainly not ideal, but they persevered to ensure the rooms they worked on were finished to a very high quality and standard. You are all fantastic and deserve recognition for the hard work, passion and enthusiasm shown to ensure the best possible outcome”
