Darron walked out of School at 16 years old and joined Scottish Gas as an Apprentice Technical Engineer. After a number of years working in customers’ housing, he moved into frontline and then senior leadership roles within Service & Repair, Home Installations, and Smart metering. He left after 30 years and moved to the social housing sector, where he has led large operation teams to deliver repair, maintenance and void service to tenants, with customer service and colleague engagement at the heart.
Darron is married to Kelly, he has two kids, Clara, who is 16 and Alvay who is 2. He is a passionate follower of F1 and a very keen golfer.
