We have held a longstanding relationship with Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) since 2009 when we began installing 500 new central heating systems in their housing stock each year (over 3000 to date). DGHP faced considerable geographical challenges for housing and energy rating improvements with many rural off gas properties. Our work with them has evolved over time to encompass a range of services, including the installation of over 1300 energy efficiency and micro-generation technologies such as air source heat pumps, biomass and cavity wall insulation, worth over £9 million.
Mike Trant, Asset Manager for Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership adds ‘We are very happy with PH Jones’ level of consistency and excellence, compliance and satisfaction scores averaging above 99%. PH Jones has developed contract specific training and employment programmes to deliver much needed and long-lasting community benefits to the area, including: Pre Employment Training Programme, work experience, organising Engagement Days with DGHP tenants and the wider community, assisting with the planning of these events and facilitating engagement with tenants and the wider community through dedicated literature, energy advice, access to insulation measures and giveaways.’
