Young footballers at Wombourne Allstars FC’s Under-9s team, the All Stars Jets, are proudly sporting a new kit after benefiting from Centrica’s Sports Kit Ballot, helping to support grassroots sport and give local children the opportunity to thrive both on and off the pitch.
The All Stars Jets are part of Wombourne Allstars FC, a community football club established in 2020 that has experienced significant growth in recent years. The club now supports a range of boys’ and girls’ teams, providing opportunities for young people across the local area to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team.
Among the coaching team is a PH Jones colleague, Arran Shuker, who volunteers as an assistant coach alongside two others.
The new kit will be worn proudly throughout the upcoming season as the All Stars Jets train every Saturday morning, with matches played on Sundays in the Stourbridge & District Youth Football League. The Under-9s squad has been playing together for three years, creating strong friendships and developing their teamwork both during training sessions and on match days.
We hope the new shirts bring the team plenty of luck on the pitch and wish them a fun, successful season ahead!
