PH Jones work with social housing associations and local authorities across England, Scotland and Wales. We have also been appointed onto many frameworks for installation, electrical work and service and repair. Some of our clients and frameworks are shown on this page.


Your Housing Group

Your Housing Group manages 32,000 properties across the communities of NW England. Our work with Your Housing Group began in November 2007, and we were re-awarded work in 2014. Delivery of the contract covers installations, communal schemes and leaseholder provision, and covers gas, oil, solid fuel and renewable systems.

Symphony Housing Group

Symphony Housing Group is one of the largest housing and regeneration organisations operating in the North West of England, with nine member organisations providing services to over 41,000 homes. Having worked with SHG since 2009, we were awarded a new contract in 2015, winning work with Liverpool Housing Trust. Under the new contract, we are delivering a fully inclusive combined service for domestic gas fired appliances, reactive repairs, and annual gas servicing.

Midland Heart

Midland Heart is a leading UK housing, care and support business, that provides 33,000 high quality affordable homes to over 70,000 customers. PH Jones provide gas servicing and repairs for 20,000 properties which is made up predominantly of gas, though some with solid fuel. We also undertake planned and responsive installations for Midland Heart. We have been working with them since July 2007, and were re-awarded our current contract in July 2014.

Community Housing Group

From our Kidderminster office, we are responsible for the gas servicing and repair for some 5492 property stock for Community Housing Group. This includes gas, LPG, solid fuel and communal systems. The contract also covers the ad hoc replacement of boilers and full heating systems. We have been working with the Community Housing Group since April 2012.

Northampton Partnership Homes

Northampton Partnership Homes in an ALMO set up by Northampton Borough Council in January 2015, to manage the Council’s housing stock. Our contract with Northampton Borough Council is to provide servicing and repairs to their 10,600 properties. We have been working with Northampton Borough Council since June 2002.

Homes for Haringey

Homes for Haringey is Haringey Council’s housing company, responsible for managing around 16,700 tenanted properties on behalf of the council. Our contract is to support Homes for Haringey’s own direct labour conducting gas safety, planned preventative and responsive maintenance in 7900 across their property stock, with a planned replacement programme of 400 installations per year. The contract began in April 2014.

Yarlington Housing Group

Yarlington Housing Group own and manage over 10,000 properties in the Somerset, Devon and Sedemoor area. Our contract with them is a fuel change – removing Economy 7 heaters and replacing them with new gas line meters and ‘A’ rated combination heating and hot water boilers from start to finish for 120 properties within the Yarlington property stock. Our success, prompted Yarlington to award us another 150 boiler installations and 195 fuel switch installations. The Contract was re-awarded in 2014.

Poole Housing Partnership

The contract covers all aspects of gas servicing and repairs to 3,563 properties and includes a planned and responsive installation programme. We began working with Poole Housing Partnership in August 2011.

“PH Jones have been our gas contractor since 2011 and have given us a reliable proactive service on installation, gas servicing and responsive repairs. Through close joint working, we currently have an enviable 100% compliant gas servicing record and no LGSRs have been allowed to expire for the last 27 months!” says Richard Freeman, Poole Housing Building Services Manager.

Brighton and Hove Council

We provide gas servicing and repairs to Brighton and Hove City Council to 4,500 properties for a mixture of systems including gas, solar, electric and communal systems. Also included in the provision is the servicing and maintenance of the carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. As part of our contract we provide a planned and responsive installation programme. The contract began in September 2005.

Paragon Community Housing Group

Paragon Community Housing is a housing association whose properties are based in Elmbridge, Richmond, Kingston and the surrounding boroughs. We are responsible for the servicing and repair of 4,500 properties in the London area. Additionally, we undertake responsive and planned replacement installations. We began working with Paragon in April 2014.

Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership

We have held a longstanding relationship with Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) since 2009 when we began installing 500 new central heating systems in their housing stock each year (over 3000 to date). DGHP faced considerable geographical challenges for housing and energy rating improvements with many rural off gas properties. Our work with them has evolved over time to encompass a range of services, including the installation of over 1300 energy efficiency and micro-generation technologies such as air source heat pumps, biomass and cavity wall insulation, worth over £9 million.

Falkirk Council

Our contract for Falkirk is a framework for reactive heating replacements and minor replacement works such as boilers or fires to approx. 2175 properties per year. As part of a framework with Falkirk Council, we have installed over 500 gas central heating systems. The client places great emphasis on providing its residents with a first class service and we embrace this philosophy in assisting Falkirk Council to deliver the gas service. We have worked with this client since 2012.

East Lothian Council

East Lothian Council’s properties include many in rural non-gas areas covering large areas of south east Scotland. The contract includes a planned and responsive installation programme covering over 500 installs per year to a portfolio of 8,600 properties. Also included in the service delivery are Air Source heat pump installations. We began this contract in 2011.

Wiltshire Council

Wiltshire Council’s property stock includes some geographical challenges, with some of the properties in isolated, rural areas. The contract includes a planned programme of over 550 boiler replacements and upgrades per year. Our maintenance contract is for 4,150 properties with gas, oil and air source heat pumps. We undertake an annual gas inspection and services, day to day gas central heating repairs and maintenance, boiler servicing and repairs to communal systems. The contract also includes servicing to smoke alarms. PH Jones / British Gas began working with Wiltshire Council in 2000.


Efficiency North

Efficiency North is a consortium of social housing providers committed to working collaboratively to generate long term sustainable efficiency savings in the construction and maintenance supply chain and any other wider economic and social benefits arising.

PH Jones is on the frameworks for Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar and, installs and electrical for >51+ properties for each of the 3 geographical regions - Humberside, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.

Procure Plus

Procure Plus Holdings Limited (PPH) is actively engaged in the business of physical and social regeneration across the North West of England. They are a commercial, not for profit, company that specialises in the procurement of goods and services related both to new-build and to the repair and maintenance of a wide range of social housing.

PH Jones is on the gas installation frameworks for: >51+ properties in Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffs and Cumbria; renewables and ventilation; and electrical works.

Procurement for All

Procurement For All (PFA) Limited is a former National Change Agent (NCA), recognised procurement consortium for registered social housing providers. It is owned by a core group of member organisations who have a diverse range of housing stock across England.

PH Jones is on the gas planned improvement works for central heating installation framework.

Fusion 21

Fusion21 is the social enterprise that provides leading procurement and regeneration services. They are an award winning social enterprise, who has gained national recognition for their collaborative approach with members. They provide a wide range of procurement services and procurement frameworks that can meet the unique requirements of public sector organisations, large scale organisations and the third sector.

PH Jones is on the service, repair and maintenance for domestic heating systems for North West, North East, Midlands, South West, South Central, Wales and Scotland. We are also on the planned maintenance and installation works for central heating, domestic and commercial.

Northern Housing Consortium

Consortium Procurement is the national procurement function of the Northern Housing Consortium providing a wide range of housing, property and social related framework agreements. They currently represent over 330 members who between them manage over 3 million social housing tenancies across the UK. By combining the purchasing capacity of members they establish robust, market tested solutions that deliver value for money, economies of scale and compliance with EU Procurement Directives.

PH Jones is on the service, repair and maintenance for domestic heating systems framework for 7 geographical regions.

Central Housing Investment Consortium

Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) is a consortium of Social Housing providers. CHIC’s members are based predominantly in the West and East Midlands though the consortium has grown to include circa 40 organisations throughout England and Wales which together manage over 440,000 properties. Via CHIC, PH Jones offers combined heating services (service, repair and maintenance) through a long term contract and is also included on two CHIC planned works frameworks: electrical rewires and associated works, and heating system and boiler replacements.
