About Us
A family company founded in 1963 by Phil Jones, 'PH Jones' installed central heating for homeowners. In 1971, Phil and his wife, Brenda, started another company called 'Central Heating Maintenance Limited’ to manage the maintenance of the heating systems installed by PH Jones and other installers.
In 1994 'Central Heating Maintenance Limited’ took on its first social housing contract, and in 1999, Phil and Brenda amalgamated the companies to form 'PH Jones Limited’. Throughout the 1990s and to the present day the company has continued to win further social housing contracts in addition to retaining existing clients.
In addition to the expansion in the social housing market in the mid 1990s, ‘PH Jones Limited’ also branched into the new build market and founded the New Build Division to provide heating and plumbing services for new property developments. In 2004 ‘PH Jones Limited’ also diversified and founded a Utilities Division to undertake gas and electric meter maintenance and replacement services for blue chip companies.
In 2007 ‘PH Jones Limited’ acquired ‘D-Tec Electrical Limited’, a specialist commercial electrical engineering company and in January 2008, established the ‘PH Jones Group,’ which became the holding company of ‘PH Jones Limited’ and ‘D-Tec Electrical Limited.’
‘PH Jones Group acquired ‘Coolfactor Group Limited’ in March 2008, a specialist heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration and M&E engineering company.
‘PH Jones Limited’ has over 850 directly employed staff, 28 regional offices and 11 directors.
